Most useful apps

Some of the most useful apps are math rocket, mathboard, my spelling list, dictionary, myhomework, and books.This app we used them for spelling, math and writing homework.

iPads have been good help.

IPads where a really good help to me. There are some good aps that helped me learn, like math rocket, Garfield cyberbullying, and lots of other aps. It also helped me to learn new things about technology. Ipads have been a good help to me.

iPad most useful apps for your learning !

I think the most useful app that we had have more fun learning with is the math rocket because you had a lot of fun learning math and at the same time it is interesting and creative too learn in a fun way . Another app I liked was perl driver because you get to learn fraction in a fun way and it gets more difficult each time.

I pads are very helpfull tools, they helped me with research, finding fotos, making research papers and many other things that helped us with the exhibition. What do you like the most and do you think they are useful for learning?

In the iPad there were a lot of useful apps.

In the iPads  there were a lot of useful apps like rocket math, my spelling list, dropbox, mathletics, math tutor, TeamViewer, and Google Earth . But also, apart from the interesting and useful for learning apps, there were also a lot of fun apps like angry birds, doodle jump, pocket god, GTA, A monster ate my homework, and apple shooter. These fun gaming apps are great but they distracted us a lot from work. But the learning apps were really fun and also interesting and challenging. I hope that next year the middle school principal (Ms Rebeca) buy iPads for our use. I have convinced my parents to buy me an iPad 2 because they're so cool. I loved  having the iPads this year, and I hope having them for next year too!!! 

I like the ipdas because it is fun to discover other ripe of technology in the school and it is very useful to work on the iPads and it is very different from the computer the Mac book

The most use full apps.

For me the most use full apps are all of the educational ones and I also like the ones that are integrated with the iPads because they are all fun and educational at the same time. I also like a lot the games because when are finished with an activity you can be playing games that are not educational and the ones that are educational because they are fun at the same time.

Useful Tool or an Unnecessary Distraction?

Since we have worked with the i Pads for about a month now, I am interested in hearing your perspective. Would you want to have i Pads in class next year? Have they been useful? Do you think you save time (by emailing, sharing work on Google Docs, researching, writing papers ...) or do you think you waste time (by chatting, playing Garage Band, drawing, and playing game applications)?

Thinking about school work, I prefer the Mac book because it is easier to use but for normal moments I prefer the I Pad because you can play games that you can't play on the computer, it is lighter so it's easier to carry and it
Is like a laptop but it is smaller.

iPads vs. MacBooks

I think that iPads and MacBooks are actually equal

The MacBooks are better for typing, and viewing thing with adobe flash.

I personally think that every thing about iPads is better than MacBooks but everything dose not include typing, it is really hard to type in an iPad so that is the only thing that I think is better than the iPads.

It depends what Mcbook

I love iPads. but if you give me a Macbook Pro, I prefer the Macbook because you can´t access some websites from your iPad. Although I still think that the iPad is more practical in traveling situations. If you give me a Macbook white, I prefer an iPad because I don´t like the Macbook white. Finally if you give me a Macbook Air, I won´t really know, because both are light but cool. I think the Macbook Air because as I said before, you can´t access some websites.

Macbook or ipads

I think that both are great. I like to use ipads for research and for making google docs. But if we have to work on power point and on google sites I would prefer to use Macbooks. I think ipads are great but Macbooks are more comfortable to use and you can make more things.

I pads or MacBooks

I prefer the I pad because it is mobile and we can use it all day. With the MacBooks we get them only once a week.

Macbook or iPad

I don't know if I prefer iPads of a Macbook because with the iPads when it is Fun Friday you can play with them, but with the Macbook you can edit Google Sites and with the iPads you can't :(

I personally prefer the iPads although they are the same thing as MacBooks.

Now, that we have used our iPads with a variety of applications and Internet sites (such as search engines, newspapers, BrainPop, comic strips, Keynotes, Pages, Numbers, Google Docs, Dictionary, videos, encyclopedias, MathBoard, and DropBox), I would like to know which device you prefer to use in class and why.

Fun iPads

I think that the idea of having the iPads is fun. The good thing is that in exhibition we can research on iPads, we can write the homework, etc.
I rally love iPad time!!!!

Finally, we are working independently! ... Somewhat :)

After the first three days of uploading apps., linking resource sites to our i Pad screens, and adding our email accounts, the students are now working independently! They are using the i Pads to blog about the i Pads, research on the internet their exhibition topic using encyclopedias, newspapers, and databases, send emails to their exhibition mentor, create documents in Google Docs, copy paste bibliography citations from Easy Bib to Google Docs, preview their Google Sites, write their homework assignments in Notes, read comics about cyber-safety and cyber-bullying, practice math and language skills using a variety of apps., watch educational videos from Brain Pop and send me emails of screen shots of their work. There are so many directions that the students can go, that I will need to plan differently!

iPads

A few days ago we got the iPads. I feell very exited because that way we could have more use of technology for our future. When we stared using the iPads we got all exited. I feel ver y glad we have the ipads

I Pads" we need more"

We loved the I Pads. They are a great leRning experience but we do not have enough for all the clas. We hope we can get more so we have enough for each person during the exhibition. I think this is a great learning experience. I think this isnvery great. I love doing new things with technology . I learned lots of new things that I would like to try on other things. I think having I Pads is a great experience for the class so we can learn new things.

Each of us needs an iPad

When you think that our class has iPads it is incredible, but not every one thinks so. Apple gave 5C 16 iPads and two people do not have one so we need to share with those people but not just only one person all of the class.

I am really exited about the iPad and the opportunity the school is giving us to learn more about it by using it for education ,I think is fun and interesting to learn through the iPads because we can learn new things and modernize the school technology and that is a really big step for schools to have more education through technology.

I am having lots of fun learning with the i pads. This is really helping me for my exhibition topic that it is access to technology, and working with the i pads is really helping me see how technology helps in education. I am very happy!

iPads

We just got the iPads. They are very cool. I have learned that an iPad (iTouch, etc.) can not only be used for games and music, but for educational purposes too! Cool isn't it?

At last something fun

The iPads are really fun and they can be really useful to teach and to learn. Many people will do there homework with motivation. I really have a lot of fun with the iPads. They are a good resource.

I think it was a very good idea for our class to have the IPads so that we can explore the technology and I think it's also a vey good way to learn.

Ipads

I am very happy with this two month iPad trial! I think that education with technology is great because that way students get to learn how to use technology and also get to learn scholar things. Students also get motivated to do homework on iPads instead of plain boring paper worksheets that just kill trees and bore students, and if they are motivated to do do homework on their iPads, there will be less students that don't turn in their homework and also the kids in the world will be smarter and also have good grades.
And also remember... Work and homework kill trees. Technology doesn't!

What I Think About Ipads

I feel like the Ipads are a better way of learning because you can do all you can do in your school notebook, and even more, such as research, as get in your mail at Safari, play games about school, and even more. Now the Ipads are much fun because we can use it for many things and we Williams learn much more about technology.

Yesterday we got the IPads. It was very exciting to get them and exploring them was e ven more exciting.
I feel it was a very idea becuase it helps me connect with the world.

First Day with iPads!

Today, the students received the iPads that we have been so patiently waiting for this year. There was a lot of excitement in the air, as the students opened the boxes. Unfortunately, we only received 16, but since a few students have been bringing their iPads from home, only a couple had to share.

We spent the first half hour exploring the apps that were already on the iPads. Some iPads had a large collection of apps such as Scrabble, Elements, Pages, and Garage Band, while others did not have anything. It was evident that we needed to somehow make the apps. available on the different iPads more uniform. Students began to download a collection of apps. that I thought would be useful in class and FREE. These apps. were then organized in folders. The applications downloaded included:
