5C LS iPAD PILOT 2011 Our 5th grade class will be working with iPads on loan from Apple during April and May. We hope to integrate the technology with all the subject areas, but we are most excited about the research and communication possibilities in preparation for the exhibition. Please join our blog and help us make the most of this pilot.

Do you prefer to use MacBooks or iPads?
Now, that we have used our iPads with a variety of applications and Internet sites (such as search engines, newspapers, BrainPop, comic strips, Keynotes, Pages, Numbers, Google Docs, Dictionary, videos, encyclopedias, MathBoard, and DropBox), I would like to know which device you prefer to use in class and why.

I prefer iPads becausethey are not so fragile neither so big, but also an iPad would be more usefull because they can also have internet and apps that can help you working.
I sometimes prefer iPads beacause you can have apps and it is touch.
The part I don't like of iPads is that you can't see mathletics, raz-kids you need anobe flash player.
In Macbooks you can't have apps.
So sometimes I prefer iPads.
I prefer IPads because you can take notes, search in the internet, and download apps that can help in your work.
I prefer the laptops because i get distracted less with the laptops and concentrate more.
