5C LS iPAD PILOT 2011 Our 5th grade class will be working with iPads on loan from Apple during April and May. We hope to integrate the technology with all the subject areas, but we are most excited about the research and communication possibilities in preparation for the exhibition. I like that they have a larger screen than an iPod touch, and that they are lighter and easier to handle than a laptop. I like many applications, but mostly the free newspapers such as Reforma and USA Today, and the video applications. The larger screen makes it easier to read and view.
I like iPads because they are fun to use, they are quicker, and we have them here in the class every day so we can use them daily. It is fun to work with something so technological. iPads have been an experiment for me.
